Day trip · 4h 30m· Shahdara, across the Ravi
Tombs of Shahdara
Jahangir, Noor Jahan and Asif Khan across the river
A small-group day across the Ravi to the tombs of an emperor, his empress and her brother, with a proper lunch in between. Eight seats, we drive.
Shahdara is fifteen minutes from the Fort and a world away. On the far bank of the Ravi sit three tombs: Jahangir's, the grandest Mughal monument in Pakistan, his brother-in-law Asif Khan's, stripped of its marble by the Sikhs, and Noor Jahan's, the empress who ran the empire and asked for nothing on her grave but grass.
We keep this one small. Eight seats in one vehicle, a pickup in Gulberg, and lunch on the way at a haveli or on the rooftop at Coco's Den looking at the Badshahi. Then the tombs, in order, with time to sit in Jahangir's garden and not be rushed.
This is the day trip for people who have done the Fort and want the next chapter.

Questions before you book.
How do I book a tour?
Bookings are made through our website. Pick a date on the Upcoming walks page and tap Book. We recommend booking in advance, as spots on our walks are limited.
How do I pay?
Tickets are sold through High Tribe, our ticketing partner. Tap Book on any date and you will complete payment there. For private tours, schools and companies, we send payment details directly.
Where do the tours start?
Each route has its own meeting point, which we share with you once your booking is confirmed. Most walks begin in or around the Walled City.
What should I wear and bring?
Comfortable walking shoes are a must, as our routes cover narrow lanes and uneven ground. We also suggest modest clothing, as many sites are places of worship, plus water and a camera.
