Who we are
Storytellers, history lovers, and proud Lahoris.
Lahore ka Ravi is our love letter to the old city, told on foot, one street at a time. We believe the best way to know this city is to walk its lanes, taste its food, and listen to the stories hidden in its walls.

We believe storytelling is one of the most powerful tools we have to bridge communities, build empathy, and promote a more equal, understanding society.
Our story began with our founder, Ghazi Taimoor, a chartered accountant turned educator and LUMS faculty member, who spent his nights wandering the lanes of Androon Lahore: talking to shopkeepers and chess players, recording street singers, and sitting with elders to hear the histories passed down through generations. He noticed that the stories we usually tell about the old city are ones of division and violence, while the countless everyday tales of neighbours living in harmony, of love, acceptance and coexistence, go unheard. Out of that desire to share the Lahore he could not hear about growing up, he founded Lahore ka Ravi in the fall of 2023.
We began as a passion project that turned into a living archive of the city. Along the way we have built a community of over 34,000 followers, been featured on Forbes and Geo News, and spoken at the Lahore Literary Festival, Thinkfest and the Pakistan Heritage Exchange, but our proudest moment is always the same: turning strangers into locals, and locals into wide-eyed strangers again.
Today we open the doors of old Lahore for everyone, through storytelling walks, food trails and immersive experiences, wandering past Mughal-era wonders and down centuries-old lanes. If the walls of old Lahore could talk, they would have generations of stories to tell, and this is where our Expert Storytellers come in. From intimate walks to bespoke journeys for schools and organisations, a Storyteller brings those forgotten stories back to life.
Come take a walk down memory lane with us. Whether you are a curious traveller, a student, or a Lahori rediscovering home, we would love to walk with you.
